New ambitions: A Hall of Their Own

v2.0.1

September 7, 2026· Downloads & Translations

Release changes

  • This snapshot compares the current browser build with v1.9.8. It includes the cumulative changes from 2.0 and 2.01; no separate 2.0 snapshot was captured.
  • League Trials now bring two rival halls through the same dungeon to a final-room meeting. Rival rosters, equipment and conscience affect the outcome.
  • The Envoy supports transfer offers. Five new Hall wings add memorials, muster information, payroll reserves, food and remedies.
  • Kindreds now have distinct career windows; the Yard follows the six-day cycle and supports mentoring that can raise a young hero’s Potential.
  • Italian joins the language options, and Windows and Linux downloads are available. The wiki extracts the shipped English text.
  • An empty Physician or Master-at-Arms seat reduces recovery or passive training outside the Backwater. Top-division Tavern recruits are intended as depth rather than replacements for stars.
  • New retirement choices can involve a wounded hero and their partner. Rival transfers continue through the season, and great houses rise and decline over long campaigns.
  • Quest stress is floored at zero; short-handed quest departures warn instead of blocking. Bounty names follow the region and the map shows board locations.

v1.9.8

August 19, 2026· Bonds that mean something

Release changes

  • Protective interventions now choose who a hero steps in front of from the pair’s bond, scale their odds with that bond, exclude feuds, and remember the outcome after the delve.
  • Past Bearing begins at 92 stress and can resolve along three paths, including one that can permanently cost the guild the hero.
  • Fatigue penalties are now calculated per hero: nothing below 45, then reduced damage and healing up to the existing 12% ceiling.
  • The vow ledger now shows what the hall owes and which actions answer each vow; muster rows expose the vow each hero carries.
  • Delve verdicts now move morale and can become a hero’s notable line at the extremes.
  • Fixes cover duplicate bound beasts, impossible stature mandates, reassigned-role token colours, clustered desertions, Crucible withdrawals and ended romances.
  • The Training Yard can change roles directly, desktop builds gained UI scaling, the Compendium gained witness stones, and delve navigation and Stair state were clarified.

New random events: Past Bearing · A Debt in the Dark · The One Who Did Not Go

v1.9.7.9

August 17, 2026· Be your own hand

Release changes

  • Dungeonborn now functions as its own mode: rival halls keep beasts, the transfer market is usable, beasts can earn loyalty, and Tavern Wing and Loremaster upgrades improve the intake.
  • Debt and poaching now produce offers the player can accept or refuse instead of taking a hero without compensation.
  • The war muster was rebuilt to show its terms, selected side and local kin clearly; loans were shortened and several all-mode timing and copy issues were fixed.
  • Crucible opposition no longer scales one-for-one with player strength, and crown ownership, reviews and returning Gathering rivals now resolve correctly.
  • Tank reviews now credit attacks drawn rather than damage suffered; Wardens receive combat credit and Guardian taunts gained the Paladin pull profile.
  • Storm and Cinder is a new Warden-and-Arcanist synergy.
  • Heroes can receive a player-authored order, while the order catalogue now exposes verbs, signatures and valid conditions more clearly.
  • The realm map, return calendar, Training Yard overflow, Gathering preparation and Loremaster scouting received substantial usability updates.
  • Data diff below spans v1.9.7.8 through v1.9.7.9 — itch only served the latest bundle when this snapshot was taken.

New synergies: Storm and Cinder

New random events: What Came Back in the Pack

v1.9.7.7

August 15, 2026· House of the Beasts

Release changes

  • Any hero can be reassigned to the tank or damage job whatever their class was built for; healing stays exclusive to Clerics, Druids and Bards.
  • Field Medic is the one gift that can be earned — a hero who repeatedly carries the fallen to safety learns to bind wounds mid-fight.
  • Dungeonborn is a new founding mode: a hall built around bound beasts, who arrive stronger than recruits but barely develop.
  • Rescued children come back six years on, shaped by whoever mentored them, and enter the draft as ordinary recruits.
  • The Tavern gained a side-by-side recruit-versus-hero compare, and Loremasters can read a recruit’s vow before hiring.
  • Hovering an enemy in the Delve now shows its nature, combat approach and weaknesses before you commit.
  • The Chart the Way creed cuts posting duration by a fifth; famous halls pay wages that scale with reputation, and patron displeasure now costs coin.
  • Fixes: the Armory "Gives" filter styling, and the Training Yard drilling the wrong stats for converted heroes.
  • Data diff below spans v1.9.7.4 through v1.9.7.7 — those interim builds were never served to us, so no snapshot exists for them.

v1.9.7.2

August 12, 2026· Patch notes (Hotfixes included)

Release changes

  • The Deep no longer crashes on floor 11 and remains playable beyond year 10.
  • Open Tournament ties can be forfeited when fewer than four heroes are home and fit, at a small renown cost.
  • Optional-delve pay decay is capped, recovers fully after enough quiet days, and old hidden debt is forgiven on load.
  • Queued situations now re-check their heroes, cannot repeat within a year, and no longer produce the blank Bad Blood card.
  • Every class has an exclusive order; the five defaults are distinct orders, and Blademasters can hunt the backline again.
  • Bound beasts have valid experience-backed Veterancy, no creed, and can take a bed vacated by an away hero.
  • Signed and poached heroes now travel to the hall and arrive on a future day instead of becoming immediately available.
  • Training Yard labels, Trial selection, Cup flow, equipment slots and several finance explanations were corrected.
