Delve calculator: dungeon gold yield

How much gold does a delve actually pay? Base reward climbs steeply with danger, but running optional delves too close together drags the payout down toward a floor. Set a danger tier and current grind level to see the real take.

Each optional delve adds +1 after any quiet-day recovery; grind then falls by 0.15/day. A seven-day gap prevents a fresh penalty from carrying into the next run. Trial fixtures always pay in full but do not clear existing grind.

How to use it

  1. Drag Danger tier to the dungeon you're running (1–9).
  2. Drag Grind level up if the hall has been running optional delves back to back — leave it at 0 after a full recovery.
  3. Read Gold per delve at the top — that's your real take after the cadence penalty.

Tap any bar in the "base gold by danger tier" list to jump the danger dial straight to it. The two boxes at the bottom show what a contract bonus and a chest room add on top.

What the two dials do

Danger tier is your money lever. Each tier up pays roughly half as much again as the one below, while the monsters get tougher far more slowly — so pushing into harder dungeons is the core way to earn more, which is exactly why the game limits farming the same one.

Grind level is the penalty for optional-delve cadence. Each optional run adds one after recovery for the days since the previous run, and the meter loses 0.15 per quiet day. Leave seven days between runs from a clean meter and the next one pays in full. The meter is capped, so even the worst accumulated penalty clears in about 36 days. League Trial fixtures always pay in full, but playing one does not restore the meter.

How much back-to-back delving costs you

The higher the grind, the smaller your cut — bottoming out at roughly a quarter of full payout. This is how far each grind level drags your take down:
